Submissions are due Monday February 17th, central US time. Voting will go up very soon and the next challenge will be announced after that.

PLEASE remember this is the last challenge to go up before our Holiday Hiatus. I hope we get a lot of entries!

So I'm not very used to how this community works yet and I needed to ask a question. I've written something inspired by the current challenge but the word random doesn't even feature in it once. It's more of a random idea I found myself getting while thinking about the challenge in the first place. As long as it's inspired by the heart of it, will it still be okay to post, or is it necessary for the theme to be more directly used than that? Because I'm at a loss here and would dearly like to know.
