Blur the Lines ("Blur" entry)

Title: Blur the Lines
Author: dbskyler
Rating: All ages
Word Count: 100
Characters: The Doctor
Summary: He's not human.

He's not human.

Such a simple, basic fact, yet one that his human friends forget time and again. Or perhaps they think it doesn't matter. They act as if he's human, blur the lines between him and them, until he wonders if they don't recall his species or are deliberately choosing to deny it. Sometimes, when he can't help it, he joins in, acts as if he's one of them, and pretends his differences aren't important. He has always yearned for a place where he belongs. He wants, desperately, to call the Earth his home.

He can't.

He's not human.

Great drabble, and so fitting for the Doctor and the theme. Well done!

Gorgeous, honey. Such stark simplicity, sharply outlined, even as he describes the fuzziness of his relationships. Gorgeous.

*HUGS*

This is a really fun story to read! I think your story explains a lot about his love of Earth. Even though he's not human, he wants to find a place where he belongs and he feels that he may have found that place. The only problem is the one thing he can't change (the fact that he isn't human). Amazing job, dbskyler!
