So I read this without looking at the character list, and right away got that it was about regeneration confusion, but thought it must be the Twelfth Doctor, set during "Deep Breath." Then afterwards I saw that it was Eight, and had to read it again, and got new appreciation for certain passages (like the Doctor being cold). Basically, I really enjoyed it both times, so well done!

Aww, thank you!! I haven't gotten the courage to tackle Twelve yet, so I stick with my beloved Eleven, with occasional forays into Eight. (My two E's, lol)
