Sweet and fluffy. I did get a little confused about the characters and timing, though -- is this an AU, where the Ninth Doctor didn't regenerate after "Parting of the Ways"? Or is it meant to be Tenth Doctor?

I'm sorry you were confused. Yes, you can consider this an AU. The Ninth Doctor survives the Time Vortex and doesn't regenerate.

I love it! The connection that Rose and the Doctor has. With his struggle to ask her if she had any regrets and her reply, "Oh, you mean like when those big creatures were eating everyone, or when the Dalek was trying to kill me, or being there for the end of the human race or looking into the Time Vortex and saving your life?" I thought that was really funny!
