Title: Blurred Memories Rating: G (child friendly) Genre: Biography Word Count: 265 words Pairings or Characters: All about Donna Noble Spoilers: This article would be meant for Journey’s End. Warnings: No warning, this is a child friend article. Summary: My story is about what Donna Noble was feeling and thinking at the moments before the Doctor erased her memories to save her life.
As the Doctor placed his fingers on me, my memories began to fade. The memories of our first encounter in my wedding dress are being hidden by a veil of blurred white. The first time we met, our priceless expressions lose their worth as they lose their focus and are gone. My memories are flying from me faster than I can hold them. I don’t want to let them go.
My life, my fulfilling long life, in the Library slowly erases from my consciousness. I remember the Library, my children and my Lee. His face has become foggy and our memories together are missing. Ella and Joshua, how they played on that playground, but now that playground is gone, along with my children. But I could never forget Lee or my children, but now the memories are fleeing for my mind like shadows in the morning.
The Ood, their power of prophecy is remarkable. The Odd, an admirable species, overcoming the cruelty of slavery and advancing beyond their years, I mustn’t forget them. I can’t! They hold a … a … third… in their hands. But I could never forget… their song. Its sad melody suddenly erupted into a joyous symphony in my mind. It was so unique, it was beautiful, marvelous no doubt, but now the song has disappeared.
But the last memory that I will never forget is that magical blue box. It’s now only a blurred box, never to be reminded of its true color. That box … what was its color? Wait, who is this man with his fingers on me?
