Summary: Victoria wakes up on her 2nd night in the ship to a silent and desolate TARDIS. What has gone wrong? And where is the Doctor and Jamie?

Victoria woke up to a silent TARDIS. The lights were dimmed a low yellowish tinge, and she couldn't hear anything. This was the first sign something was wrong. Jamie and the Doctor could always be counted on to make noise.

After getting dressed, she peeked her head into the hallway. It was even darker. Victoria looked around, but could see nothing. The TARDIS was humming underneath her, but the humming felt louder than usual. Victoria was getting really nervous.

“Doctor? Jamie? Anybody?” asked Victoria. There was no response. Was the Doctor and Jamie in trouble? Terrified to her bones, Victoria carefully walked forward, peering around every corner. A small part of her brain expected to see a Dalek. But those monsters were supposed to be dead.

Had one of them snuck onto the TARDIS?

Reminding herself to put away such thoughts (after all, she wasn't a little girl anymore), Victoria steeled herself, marched ahead. . .and tripped on her skirt, falling on her face. Pushing herself up, she suddenly felt the vibrations of the TARDIS change. It became more rhythmic, almost organic .

Was it laughing at her? But the TARDIS wasn't alive. . .right?

Brushing herself off, Victoria looked up to see a man-sized yellow. . .thing, beckoning her. In the darkness, Victoria couldn't see any detail, but it had small protuberances coming out of it's skin.

Victoria called out “Who are you? Have you harmed the Doctor?” But it was gone. Victoria pulled up her courage and ran after it. She eventually found herself in the console room. Wishing she had brought a weapon, she searched for the Doctor and Jamie. Then she turned around to see the yellow monster staring at her with plastic lifeless eyes.

“Ooogaa Boogaa!” said someone behind her with a Scottish accent.

Screaming, Victoria turned around and slapped the attacker away.

“Ow!” he said.

Then Victoria faced the yellow monster, who took off its face to reveal the horrifying grin of the Doctor.

“I did tell you we would have to be careful, Jamie,” said the Doctor, putting his Big Bird mask down. Smiling at the fuming Victoria, he said “It was Jamie's idea--.”

“You are both horrible!” said Victoria.,laughing despite herself.

“We figured it might be a good way to break the, er...” said Jamie.

“Ice,” finished the Doctor.

“Looking at your face , I think we did a good job o' it!” said Jamie.

Clasping his feathers together, the Doctor said “Oh, I don't know. We only managed to scare her out of her wits! ”

Victoria launched herself at the Doctor who began to run.

Below, the TARDIS was still laughing.

Eeee, this is so delightfully cute! :D I squealed in joy to see representation of a Two team-TARDIS, and your Victoria was just so adorable. So frightened, the poor baby, yet she pulled herself together and tried her best to be brave ;) And the Doctor and Jamie were hilarious little gits, bless them. ♥ I also love little details like Victoria still being so scarred by her experience with the Daleks, the TARDIS being alive and laughing fondly at her, and the other two wanting to break the ice in that awkwardly endearing way. Big Bird, oh my XD Lovely job! :D

Just two little things: "Was the Doctor and Jamie in trouble?" should probably be "were", and there was "it had small protuberances coming out of it's skin." as well :)
