Oh that was fun! The Doctor celebrating Clara's birthday and thinking that she was 30, very funny (It made me smile through-out the whole story)! :)
I wonder what the Doctor would get Clara for her birthday?

Aw, thanks! Age seems to be a hard concept for the Doctor, but he does try his best.

I could picture the Doctor getting Clara something totally useless and she would chide him for it and then he would take her on a big adventure to make up for it.

He has a very good point, there. After all, Amy figured she and Rory had aged about a decade while traveling with him. Time is relative, and time machines will take a toll. :)

Yup, I'm sure most Companions accumulate some extra years while travelling with the Doctor.

I also couldn't figure out how old Clara is, which is what inspired this fic. I'm 95% sure she's 29 this season, but that's only if season nine is set in 2015. So the Doctor going on about which year it is just me trying to figure it all out.
